Randi Sorenson, CPA, CFE, CFF, MST


Randi Sorenson, CPA, CFE, CFF, MST is President of Sorenson Business Consulting, Inc. She has been a tax, business and accounting consultant for over 20 years. In working with small to midsized businesses, she understands that each business has specific needs. Her expertise enables her to serve a wide range of industries and businesses. 


Randi has taught accounting courses at the university level for 10 years.  As a member of the Intuit Trainers and Writers Network she is honored to share tools with CPAs to fully utilize Lacerte Tax and QuickBooks financial software in working with their clients. Additionally, she has authored numerous blogs and articles for publication. Randi has also co-authored several QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification Programs for Intuit.

Dawn Gomez, MST
Director of Operations, Staff Accountant


Dawn Gomez is the Director of Operations and a Staff Accountant at Sorenson Business Consulting for over 7 years. Dawn is a seasoned consultant who excels at setting up company files, cleaning up existing data, and developing processes and procedures for small businesses. Dawn graduated with a major in Accounting from California Lutheran University in 2010 and a Master’s in Taxation at California State University, Northridge. As an adjunct instructor for the Accounting Department at California Lutheran University, Dawn’s passion for accounting is passed on to future accountants.

Kelly Hibbits, CPA
Staff Accountant


Kelly graduated cum laude from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting in 2012. She has the distinction of passing all sections of the CPA exam on her first attempt. She joined SBC in 2014 and has a background in both bookkeeping, account cleanup, and tax preparation with clients in a variety of industries. Kelly also provides support to our staff and clients with ongoing training.

Elena Villatoro

Bookkeeping Supervisor


Elena came to SBC with an associate’s degree in accounting.  She had over 15 years’ experience working with a diverse list of clients.  Her knowledge and expertise quickly became apparent and she was promoted to Bookkeeping Supervisor.

Susan Mattern
Administrative Assistant


Graduated from Huntingdon Technical  College in England with a Associates Degree In Business Administration.  Susan has over 30 years office experience working here and abroad, which  includes, but not limited to AP/AR, Marketing, Research, Lacerte Tax Program and is also QBO Certified.  She joined Sorenson Business Consulting Inc  in December 2017 and is the happy face that greets you upon your arrival at our offices.
